This service is operated by Shark Transportation Inc. (t/a Mark Veniero Trucking), a New Jersey trucking dispatch company.

What information we collect
In connection with this SMS service, we collect:
- Your mobile phone number
- The content of messages you send to and receive from us
- Message timestamps
- Your opt-in and opt-out status
Phone numbers are collected directly from drivers and employees during onboarding intake, in writing on the company’s signed onboarding/contact form. We do not collect mobile numbers through any public web form, and we do not operate a consumer signup or marketing list.
How you opt in to SMS messages
Mark Veniero Trucking (Shark Transportation Inc.) only sends SMS messages to drivers and authorized dispatch staff who have an established employment or contractor relationship with the company. We do not collect mobile numbers from any public web form, online sign-up, or marketing list.
Opt-in works like this:
- During employment or contractor onboarding, you provide your mobile phone number on the company’s standard onboarding/contact-information paperwork.
- On the form, next to where you write your number, a written consent disclosure states that the company will use the number to send SMS messages related to shift-coverage requests, assignment notifications, and dispatch coordination, and that you may opt out at any time by replying STOP. You check a box (blank by default) and sign to consent.
- A company administrator then adds the number to the messaging system manually. There is no self-service sign-up.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, START or UNSTOP to resubscribe, or HELP for assistance.
How we use this information
We use this information solely to operate our internal dispatch service — for example, to ask active drivers about shift availability, to send assignment notifications, and to answer dispatch questions from authorized operators. We do not use this information for marketing or promotional purposes, and we do not sell it.
How long we keep it
We retain SMS-related information for the duration of your employment or contract with us and for a reasonable record-keeping period thereafter, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
How to opt out
You can opt out of messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. To resume messages after opting out, reply START or UNSTOP.
